New Delhi: ICICI Bank Limited on Friday announced the allotment of 158926 equity shares of face value Rs 2 each under its Employees Stock Option Scheme 2000 (ESOP). The fresh allotment was completed on January 2, 2026, according to the official disclosure submitted to stock exchanges.
The bank stated that the allotment was approved at 10.20 am by two Executive Directors, acting under the authority granted by the Board of Directors during its meeting held on October 21, 2023. This ESOP issuance forms part of ICICI Bank’s long-term strategy to reward employees and strengthen leadership retention while enhancing shareholder alignment.
With this move, ICICI Bank’s paid-up share capital has increased marginally, reflecting the company’s continued commitment to performance-linked employee ownership.
