RBI imposes monetary penalty on Bank of India of 4.19 lakh

New Delhi: The Reserve Bank of India has imposed a monetary penalty on state-owned Bank of India of Rs 4.19 lakh.
The violations cited by the bank are Mutilated notes, inadequate CCTV coverage, etc., detected in Chandrapur currency chest.
Further , the bank has informed that the monetary penalty imposed by RBI has no material impact on the financial operation or other activities of the Bank.
Shares of Bank of India are trading up by 1.14 percent at Rs 141.90 at BSE
