NHPC CMD Visits 390 MW Dulhasti Power Station in J&K

Shri Bhupender Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of NHPC, visited the 390 MW Dulhasti Power Station in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir from December 1 to 3, 2025.

During his visit, he was briefed by Shri Suresh Kumar, Head of the Power Station, on ongoing operations, maintenance activities, and preparedness for the annual maintenance schedule. CMD NHPC also chaired a meeting with all functional heads to review the operational status and ongoing work at the station. He interacted with the staff, appreciated their dedication in challenging conditions, and encouraged them to continue ensuring smooth operations. Shri Gupta also visited the Dulhasti Dam to review dam safety and maintenance issues, emphasizing NHPC’s focus on safe and efficient hydropower generation.
