ACC approves major recommendations of different ministries

New Delhi, January 1, 2026: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Vikas Chand Chaturvedl, CSS as Director General (JS level), Directorate General of Factory Advice Service & Labour Institutes (DGFASLI), Mumbai, under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure up to the date of his superannuation on 31/07/2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The government has approved the appointment of Shri Smruti Ranjan Sethy, IRSME (1994) as Director (JS level) (Inspection & Quality Control), Export Inspection Council of India, New Delhi under the Ministry of Commerce from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure up to the date of his superannuation on 30/06/2029, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Government has also approved the appointment of Ms. Sripriya Ranganathan (IFS:94), Grade-i of IFS as Secretary (CPV & OIA), substituting Shri Arun Kumar Chatterjee (lFS:92) upon his superannuation on 31.12.2025, and has approved the appointment of Shri Amit Shivkumar Telang, IFS (2005) аs OSU JS level) Department of Defence for a tenure of three years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
