Shri Amit Mohan Govil gets additional charge as Director (FIU-India) for six-months

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Department of Revenue for the entrustment of additional charge of the post of Director (Finance Intelligence Unit-India) to Shri Amit Mohan Govil, an IRS officer of 1990-batch.

Currently, he is serving as Director General, Central Economic Intelligence Bureau, Department of Revenue and has been appointed for a period of six months from the date of the assumption of the charge of the post or till a regular incumbent is appointed or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The Cabinet has earlier approved the ex-post facto approval of extension of entrustment of additional charge of the post of Director (Finance Intelligence Unit- India) to Shri Vivek Aggarwal, IAS (MP:1994), Additional Secretary, Department of Revenue for a period from 30.03.2025 to 21.04.2025.
