Government approves recommendations for Secretary, Deputy Director and Director posts

New Delhi: The Competent Authority has approved assignment of additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Land Resources to Shri Shailesh Kumar Singh, IAS (JH:1991), Secretary, Department of Rural Development with immediate effect and till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Shri Praneet Choudhary, IRAS (2008) has been selected for appointment as Deputy Director General (Director level) in the Directorate General of Shipping, Mumbai under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.

He would be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Directorate General of Shipping, Mumbai under the M/o Ports, Shipping & Waterways.

Shri Devesh Kumar Mahia, IPS (AGMUT: 2012) has been selected for appointment as Director in the D/o Social Justice & Empowerment, Delhi under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.

He would be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the D/o Social Justice & Empowerment, Delhi.
