Raghav Langer (IAS) gets extension as Secretary at National Medical Commission

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Health and Family Welfare for extension of central deputation tenure of Shri Raghav Langer, IAS of Uttarakhand cadre of 2009-batch, Secretary, National Medical Commission (NMC) (JS level) under Department of Health & Family Welfare for a period of one year beyond 03.10.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Shri Langer had previously held charges as the Director of the Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation under the Ministry of Jal Shakti. He has held several significant positions during his inter-cadre deputation to Jammu and Kasmir.
