Shri Abhishek Dev (IAS) gets extension as Chairman of APEDA under central deputation

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Commerce for extension of central deputation tenure of Shri Abhishek Dev, IAS (AGMUT:2007), Chairman, Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), Department of Commerce for a period of one year beyond 08.02.2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

He is a 2007-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the AGMUT cadre and has been posted as Director of Census Operations at the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in 2021.
