BHEL Q3 results out, Net loss reported around Rs 163 crore
The standalone revenue from operations for the PSU for FY24 has witnessed a notable increase of 4.5 per cent in Q3FY24.
Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited has announced its quarterly results for the December end. The company has posted a net consolidated loss of Rs 163 crore for the quarter as against a net profit of Rs 31 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
The company has been trending for continuous decline after the fourth quarter of the previous fiscal year and has subsequently reported losses in the following quarters. The standalone revenue from operations for the PSU for the FY24 has witnessed a notable increase of 4.5 percent in Q3FY24, reaching Rs 5504 crore as against Rs 5246 crore recorded in the previous fiscal year.

The company has reported a loss of Rs 194.91 crore before tax in the third quarter against Rs 52.71 crore in the previous year. Meanwhile, total expenses climbed 9.32% to Rs 5816.87 crore in Q3.
