NTPC Pays ₹3,248 Crore Final Dividend to Govt

NTPC has paid a final dividend of ₹3,248 crore to the Government of India for FY25, taking its total dividend payout to ₹8,096 crore. This marks the 32nd consecutive year of rewarding shareholders.

NEW DELHI: State-run power major NTPC Ltd. presented its final dividend of ₹3,248 crore for the financial year 2024-25 (FY25) to the government on Thursday.This final payout, which represents a handsome 33.50% of the company's paid-up equity share capital, brings NTPC's total dividend for FY25 to ₹8,096 crore.

The dividend advice was presented by Shri Gurdeep Singh, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), along with the Board of Directors, to the Hon’ble Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, Shri Manohar Lal.

The presentation took place in the presence of Shri Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary (Power), and other senior officials.

The payment reinforces NTPC's strong financial health, marking the 32nd consecutive year the Maharatna company has rewarded its shareholders.
