IFC Partners with HDFC AMC
New Delhi: HDFC Asset Management Company (HDFC AMC) has announced a strategic partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to expand private credit access for India’s growing mid-market companies.
Under the agreement, IFC will act as the anchor investor in HDFC AMC’s Structured Credit Fund-I, committing up to ₹220 crore. The fund has already raised approximately ₹1,290 crore in its first close and is targeting a total corpus of ₹1,500 crore, with an additional green-shoe option of ₹1,000 crore.
The fund will focus on providing secured credit financing to mid-sized enterprises across sectors (excluding real estate), helping companies scale operations, create jobs and strengthen India’s private credit ecosystem. So far, the fund has committed ₹380 crore across three deals.
