New Delhi: In a major step towards advancing technical education and enhancing skill development in the petroleum and polymer sectors, CIPET centres at Guwahati, Lucknow, and Murthal signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oil India Limited under its CSR initiative.
The MoU marks a shared commitment to fostering industry-ready talent, boosting technical expertise, and supporting skill empowerment across key regions. The collaboration aims to enable structured training programs, modern laboratory exposure, and hands-on learning opportunities for students and local communities.
The agreement was formalized in the august presence of Shri Arvind Kumar, Director (Refineries), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., and Prof. (Dr.) Shishir Sinha, Director General, CIPET, along with senior officials from both organizations. Their participation underscored the importance of industry–institution partnerships in building a future-ready workforce.
This strategic collaboration is expected to strengthen technical capabilities, promote knowledge sharing, and contribute to broader socio-economic development in alignment with national skill enhancement goals.
