New Delhi: Gas Authority of India Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) on 6th August 2025. The MoU was signed by Shri Sanjay Agarwal, Executive Director (Business Development & E&P), in the presence of Shri R.K. Singhal, Director (Business Development), GAIL and Mr Sanjeev K Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, HCL along with senior officials of GAIL and HCL.
This strategic collaboration aims to jointly explore and develop critical mineral resources in India and abroad, with a focus on securing essential minerals.
The partnership is aligned with India’s vision for resource security and will further strengthen the country’s global presence in the critical minerals sector.
