As part of the project, 50 rural women from the Ib Valley Area in Jharsuguda district will receive advanced sewing skill development training. This initiative is designed to enhance the socio-economic status of marginalized women by equipping them with practical and income-generating skills.

The collaboration between MCL and Gram-Utthan reflects a strong commitment to creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for women in underserved communities. By focusing on skill development, the Swabalambi project seeks to build self-reliance and promote long-term empowerment among rural women.

MCL officials stated that the initiative not only contributes to individual growth but also plays a crucial role in community development by fostering economic independence and social inclusion.
