REC Foundation signs agreement with Kaziranga, extends CSR grant of Rs 5.43 crore
Under the agreement, REC Foundation will extend a CSR grant of Rs 5.43 crore to KTCF for the installation of solar power plants and Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems at various anti-poaching camps across the park.

New Delhi: REC Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Kaziranga Tiger Conservation Foundation (KTCF) to bolster conservation initiatives in Kaziranga National Park. The agreement was signed two days ago on July 3, 2025, in the presence of Shri Jitendra Srivastava, Chairman and Managing Director, REC Limited.
Under the agreement, REC Foundation will extend a CSR grant of Rs 5.43 crore to KTCF for the installation of solar power plants and Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems at various anti-poaching camps across the park. This initiative is aimed at strengthening conservation infrastructure while promoting environmental sustainability.

The MoA was formally signed by Ms. Sonali Ghosh, IFS, Field Director, Kaziranga National Park & Tiger Reserve and Chairperson, KTCF, and Shri Pradeep Fellows, Executive Director, REC Foundation — marking a significant milestone in collaborative efforts for wildlife protection.
This partnership underscores REC Foundation’s unwavering commitment to environmental conservation and the protection of India’s rich wildlife heritage.
