SECL Signs MoU to Strengthen Healthcare Infrastructure in Chhattisgarh

South Eastern Coalfields Limited SECL has taken a major step towards strengthening healthcare services in Chhattisgarh by signing a Memorandum of Understanding worth Rs 2.81 crore with Swargiya Bisahu Das Mahant Smriti Government Medical College and Hospital Korba under its Corporate Social Responsibility programme.
Under this MoU a total of 62 advanced air sterilizer units will be installed in the hospital. These units will significantly improve infection control in intensive care units and operation theatres ensuring better safety for patients as well as healthcare professionals.
The initiative will contribute to building a healthier Chhattisgarh by enhancing hospital infrastructure and medical safety standards. Through this project SECL continues its commitment to community welfare and sustainable development by investing in critical healthcare facilities.
