Department of Defence Production Wins IITF 2025 Gold Medal for 'Excellence in Display'

The Department of Defence Production (DDP), MoD, has received Gold Medal for “Excellence in Display” in the Central Ministries & Government Departments Pavilion category for its innovative Pavilion at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF-2025), held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from November 14-27, 2025.
This year, the DDP Pavilion was designed to be a comprehensive showcase for the nation’s robust defence industrial base, featuring 16 DPSUs and iDEX.
BEL was appointed by MoD as the nodal DPSU responsible for conceptualising, setting up and managing the DDP Pavilion, ensuring an impactful presentation of India's indigenous defence capabilities.

The award was presented by Shri Neeraj Kharwal, MD, ITPO, to Shri Nagesh Jain, Director, DEO, DDP, and Shri Prahalad PS, GM (CM), BEL. They were felicitated during the closing ceremony in the presence of Shri Vipin Kumar (Chairman, AAI).
The Gold Medal recognises the successful collaborative effort between the DDP, BEL, and all participating entities in highlighting India's self-reliance (Aatmanirbharta) in the defence sector to a global audience.
