INMAS–DRDO & DGAFMS Ink MoA to Strengthen Radiation Emergency Response
INMAS–DRDO and DGAFMS have signed a MoA under the Vikiran Prehri programme to strengthen national capacity and medical response for radiation emergencies in India.
The Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), DRDO, and the Director General Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS) have signed a significant Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) under ‘Vikiran Prehri’, the flagship programme of DRDO aimed at strengthening national capacity for the medical management of radiation emergencies.
The collaboration is expected to enhance synergy between Armed Forces Medical Services and DRDO, enabling faster, coordinated and effective response mechanisms during radiation-related incidents and emergencies.
The MoA was signed at Army Hospital (Research & Referral), Delhi, in the presence of:
