A K M Kashyap Appointed Government Nominee Director on STC Board
The State Trading Corporation of India (STC) has announced the appointment of Shri A K M Kashyap as Government Nominee Director, as communicated by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
New Delhi: The State Trading Corporation of India Limited (STC), a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has announced the appointment of Shri A K M Kashyap as the Government Nominee Director on its Board. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry communicated this appointment in its order dated 25 November 2025.
Shri Kashyap currently serves as Deputy Director General (QA) in the Department of Commerce. He will join the STC Board once the necessary formalities are completed. The corporation will officially announce his start date thereafter.
This appointment follows the disclosure requirements under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. STC confirmed that this action is part of regular administrative steps to improve governance and operational oversight.
The company also noted that all compliance protocols have been followed and requested the exchange to record this information.
