Praveen Kumar recommended to be next Managing Director of DFCCIL

Praveen Kumar is poised to become the next Managing Director (MD) of the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL), which is a PSU under the Ministry of Railways. He has been recommended for the position by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Thursday.

Currently, he holds the position of Executive Director in the same organization.

Mr. Kumar has been recommended for the post of MD of DFCCIL from a list of four candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB panel in its selection meeting held on June 13. The candidates on the list include DFCCIL, Ircon International Limited, and Indian Railways.

 As Managing Director of DFCCIL, Kumar will be the chief of the organisation and will be accountable to its board of Directors, Government, and Shareholders. He will also be responsible for the efficient functioning of the organization to achieve its corporate objectives and performance parameters.
