Ved Prakash Verma Appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer of HPCL
Government appoints Ved Prakash Verma as Chief Vigilance Officer of HPCL Mumbai for an initial tenure of three years under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.

NEW DELHI: The Government of India has approved the appointment of Shri Ved Prakash Verma, an Indian Telecom Service ITS officer of the 1995 batch, as the Chief Vigilance Officer CVO of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited HPCL at Mumbai.
The appointment has been cleared by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet and will be under the administrative control of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
As per the official order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, Shri Verma will serve in Pay Level 14 with a salary range of Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200, for an initial tenure of three years from the date of assumption of charge, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The Department of Telecommunications has been instructed to relieve him immediately to enable him to take charge of his new assignment.
The appointment strengthens HPCL’s governance and vigilance structure as the company continues to expand its operations across India’s energy and fuel distribution sector.
