New Delhi, September 8, 2026: The Railway Board has conveyed the President’s sanction for the immediate absorption of Shri Vinod Kumar Gautam, IRSME, in Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL).

According to the Railway Board order dated September 7, 2026, the absorption is effective from August 19, 2026 (FN).

Vinod Kumar Gautam is a permanent Railway officer, and his absorption in DFCCIL will be governed by the terms and conditions prescribed by the Ministry of Railways for immediate absorption.

Service Terms After Absorption

Following his absorption, Gautam will be governed by DFCCIL’s service rules and will be at par with other employees of the organisation.

He will be free to negotiate his emoluments with DFCCIL. For his service in DFCCIL from the date of absorption, he will be entitled to the benefits applicable to corresponding employees.

Pension and Other Benefits

For his service rendered under the Railways, Gautam will receive pension and pro-rata retirement gratuity in accordance with the Railway Services (Pension) Rules, 2026.

He will also be eligible to commute up to 40% of his pension. Leave encashment will be permitted up to a maximum of 300 days, subject to applicable rules.

His State Railway Provident Fund balance, along with interest, may also be transferred to a DFCCIL Provident Fund account, subject to applicable provisions and DFCCIL’s consent.
