IRCON supported the promotion of culture and heritage by carrying out beautification work on the walls of Bengaluru Railway Station
Bengaluru: Ircon International Limited [IRCON], a Miniratna (Category-I) Schedule - A Public Sector Enterprises, had undertaken the beautification of the Bengaluru Railway Station of South Western Railways under IRCON’s CSR Initiative. Over the last few years, the national transporter is effortlessly working towards beautification as well as redevelopment of railway stations across the country. Under this initiative, Ircon has given a makeover to Bengaluru Railway Station through mural wall paintings. This restoration work will not only make the stations look attractive with colorful and vibrant artwork, but will also showcase the culture of South India, which is one of the oldest and thriving cultures in the world.
IRCON believe that the culture and heritage of a country have a very high value. It reflects and shapes, values, beliefs and aspirations while defining our national identity. As a part of our CSR efforts, we strive to protect and promote culture and heritage in the community by undertaking several initiatives in this field.
