CSR: BEL Ghaziabad donates e-carts to CoD Agra
The beneficiaries of these e-Carts include war veterans, war widows and persons with disabilities (PWDs).

The Ghaziabad Unit of Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited has, as part of its CSR initiatives, donated four e-Carts to the Central Ordnance Depot (CoD) Agra.
The beneficiaries of these e-Carts include war veterans, war widows and persons with disabilities (PWDs), both retired and currently employed with the Services, who visit CoD Agra for various requirements and can now use these e-vehicles to commute within the depot premises.
Mr Vikraman N, Director (HR), BEL, handed over the four e-Carts to CoD Agra on August 2nd, in the presence of Brigadier J B S Siddhu, Commandant, CoD Agra, Col Virender, SM, Col Sasi, and senior BEL executives Mr Sankarasubramanian R, Executive Director (Radar) & Unit Head (BEL-Ghaziabad), Mr Anil Pant, GM (Product Support), Mr Chetan Patil, Head (HR&A)/ BEL-Ghaziabad, Mrs Aparna Tiwari, Head (CSR/HR)/ BEL-Ghaziabad, Mr Sunil Gupta, Head (MM-Central)/ BEL-Ghaziabad, beneficiaries and officers of CoD Agra.

BEL-Ghaziabad, he said, has been involved in meaningful CSR projects in the domains of Healthcare, Education, Sanitation, Vocational Skill, etc, aimed at the development and well-being of the society at large.

The teams do need an impact assessment to understand the requirements &benefits to society.
