SECL Launches Swachhata Pakhwada 2026 with Cleanliness Pledge Under Swachh Bharat Mission
Bilaspur, June 17, 2026: South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) has launched Swachhata Pakhwada 2026, a fortnight-long cleanliness campaign being observed from June 16 to June 30, 2026, under the Government of India's flagship Swachh Bharat Mission.
The campaign commenced at the SECL Headquarters in Bilaspur with a cleanliness pledge ceremony held on June 16, aimed at promoting hygiene, environmental responsibility, and public participation.
CMD Harish Duhan Administers Cleanliness Pledge
SECL Chairman-cum-Managing Director Harish Duhan administered the Swachhata Pledge to employees and stakeholders at the Visitors' Hall of the Administrative Building at SECL Headquarters.

Addressing the gathering, Harish Duhan highlighted that cleanliness is not only an essential aspect of organizational culture but also a collective social responsibility.
He urged employees to actively contribute to maintaining a clean and healthy environment and emphasized that the vision of a clean and developed India can be achieved effectively through active public participation and collective efforts.
