Coal production hit for the 2nd day in Singareni amid workers protest
Due to the worker's strike, there will be a huge loss of production on a per day basis. Around 23,500 workers protest against the govt's plan.

NEW DELHI: Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) coal production hits the second day due to the worker's strike as a protest against the government's decision on the auction of four coal blocks of mining.
However, on Friday the coal production in the Ramagudam region got blocked when the union members such as CITU, INTUC, AITUC, HMS, and BMS joined the strike.
Due to the worker's strike, there will be a huge loss of production on a per day basis. Around 23,500 workers protest against the govt's plan.
The 72 hours strike on day two caused approx 3.5 lakh tonnes of loss since Thursday, Telangana Boggu Ghani Karimka Sangham, a trade union of coal mine workers in the Singareni in the Indian state of Telangana estimated result on production loss.
