MCL donated an ambulance
New Delhi: CIL has donated an ambulance to the District Red Cross Blood Bank, Deogarh, Orissa. There has been acute shortage of blood at Deogarh Blood Bank and blood is frequently needed especially by patients of sickle cell anaemia. The vehicle will be used to carry the para-medical staff to the blood donation camps. It has an donor couch fitted inside it, so that blood donation camps can be organized at remote villages. It also has a refrigerator to store blood fitted inside. A CSR initiative of Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd.
