NSDL appoints Vijay Chandok as MD and CEO
Vijay Chandok has been appointed as the new managing director (MD) and CEO of the National Securities Depository (NSDL). Mr Chandok will guide the organization through a transformative phase. His primary focus will be on enhancing market operations and delivering secure, efficient, and innovative solutions for stakeholders.
He brings nearly 30 years of leadership experience to the role. His expertise lies in corporate finance, relationship management, credit risk, credit analysis, and risk management.
"Before this, Chandok held key positions at ICICI Securities and ICICI Bank. He began his professional journey with ICICI Bank in the year 1993. He joined as a management trainee and transitioned into the role of general manager. In the year 2010, he was elevated to the role of president, and in 2016 he served as the executive director for the Bank.
