Adani Green Energy Subsidiary Signs 20.8 MW Solar-Wind Hybrid Power Agreement with Asahi India Glass

New Delhi:   Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) announced that its wholly-owned stepdown subsidiary, Adani Green Energy Twenty Five B Limited, has entered into a Power Consumption Agreement (PCA) and Investment Agreement with Asahi India Glass Limited for the supply of 20.8 MW of solar-wind hybrid power.

The renewable energy supply will be sourced from a 25 MW solar power unit and a 20.8 MW wind power unit, both located at Khavda, Gujarat. The agreements, executed on 7 January 2026, strengthen AGEL’s ongoing commitment to sustainable energy development and corporate partnerships in renewable energy.

Under the Investment Agreement, Asahi India Glass Limited will acquire a 1.22% equity stake in the Generator project, while Adani Renewable Energy Holding Four Limited (AREH4L) retains 98.78% ownership. AREH4L will also have the right to appoint all directors on the board of the Generator.

This milestone highlights AGEL’s strategy to expand India’s clean energy infrastructure through large-scale solar-wind hybrid projects, supporting the nation’s renewable energy goals and energy security objectives.
