Suzlon Wins Maiden 200 MW Wind Order from Ayana Renewable Power

Suzlon Energy has secured its first 200 MW wind energy order from Ayana Renewable Power. The project in Limbawas, Madhya Pradesh, will use 64 S144 turbines and takes the S144 platform past 10 GW in cumulative orders.

New Delhi, 8 September 2026: Suzlon Energy Limited has secured a maiden 200 MW wind energy order from Ayana Renewable Power Limited.

This is Suzlon’s third DevCo-led wind order across Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. With this order, Suzlon’s flagship S144 platform has also crossed the 10 GW cumulative sales milestone.

 

Project Details

  • Capacity: 200 MW

  • Turbines: 64 units of flagship S144 (3.15 MW each)

  • Location: Limbawas, Madhya Pradesh

  • Grid Connection: MPPCL state grid

  • Scope: Full EPC — turbine supply, land acquisition, balance of plant, pooling substation, EHV line, commissioning, and operations & maintenance

Management Comments

Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman and Co-Founder, Suzlon Group, said the partnership strengthens Ayana’s wind portfolio as it expands into Madhya Pradesh, a state with strong wind potential.

Ajay Kapur, CEO, Suzlon Group, highlighted the company’s end-to-end capabilities and noted that four wind orders have been secured across two states in a short span.

Lakshmi Narayanan B, Head – Business Development, Ayana Renewable Power, said Suzlon’s proven technology and integrated project delivery made it the right partner for Ayana’s first wind project in Madhya Pradesh.

Suzlon has informed BSE and NSE about the order.
