NEW DELHI- Chairman of Coal India Limited Mr. Pramod Agarwal held a review meeting on 06.04.2023 at the Coal Headquarters on issues related to production, productivity and future plans. In the review meeting, while appreciating the work culture and performance of Team WCL, he congratulated the personnel for the excellent achievement in production and dispatch in the last financial year 2022-23.
He said that looking at the dedicated team like WCL, he is quite confident of achieving big in coal production and dispatch in the new financial year as well. Shri Aggarwal appealed to the Regional General Managers and Departmental Heads of the company present in the meeting to complete any project in a time-bound manner.

In the review meeting, WCL CMD Mr. Manoj Kumar gave detailed information about the achievements of the year 2022-23 and the plans for the current year. He expressed confidence that WCL would achieve the target of coal production in this financial year as well.
Director (Personnel) Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Director Technical (Operations) Mr. JP Dwivedi, Director Technical (Planning & Projects) Mr. AK Singh, Chief Vigilance Officer Mr. Ajay Mhatre, ED (CIL) and Technical Secretary to Chairman Mr. MK Singh were prominently present.

Thereafter, inspected the Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC) for e-surveillance set up at WCL Headquarters. Appreciating ICCC, he also gave important instructions.
Mr. Aggarwal left for Nagpur region from WCL headquarters. Here he inspected the Gondegaon opencast mine of the area and gave instructions to increase coal production following the safety norms. He met the field personnel and motivated them to do better. He also honored the outstanding personnel.
