Coal India 52nd AGM Results; Final Dividend of ₹5.25 & All Resolutions Approved

Kolkata, 01 September 2026: Coal India Limited has declared the voting results of its 52nd Annual General Meeting held on Monday, 31 August 2026 at 11:00 a.m. through video conferencing.

All nine resolutions placed before the shareholders were approved with the requisite majority.

Key Outcomes

• Final Dividend: Shareholders approved a final dividend of ₹5.25 per equity share (52.50%) for the financial year 2025-26.

• Payment will be made within 30 days to members whose names appear in the Company’s Register of Members as on 04 September 2026.

• The three interim dividends earlier paid during the year — ₹5.50, ₹10.25 and ₹5.50 per share — were also confirmed.

Other resolutions relating to adoption of financial statements, re-appointment of Director, fixation of statutory auditors’ remuneration, ratification of cost auditors’ remuneration, and appointment of Directors (including Chairman-cum-Managing Director and Independent Director) were also passed.

The detailed results along with the Scrutinizer’s Report have been submitted to BSE and NSE under Regulation 44(3) of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015 and are available on the websites of Coal India, its RTA and NSDL.
