CONCOR Starts JNPT-Bound Export Trains from ICD Dhandarikalan via MMLP Dadri
New Delhi: Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) has started a new route to accelerate the movement of JNPT-bound export containers from its ICD Dhandarikalan in Ludhiana.
Export traffic from ICD Dhandarikalan is now being routed via CONCOR’s mega Multi-Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) at Dadri. This change aims to reduce overall transit time for containers headed to Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT).
The first such train was dispatched from ICD Dhandarikalan on 29 August 2026.
CONCOR’s MMLP Dadri operates daily train services on the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) to JNPT. By linking the Ludhiana ICD with this high-speed corridor through Dadri, the company expects faster and more reliable movement of export cargo.
The new arrangement is expected to give a significant boost to Less-than-Container-Load (LCL) cargo booked from the Punjab region, improving connectivity for exporters in North India.
