Defence PSU BEL places Rs 8.03-crore order with Avantel for power amplifiers

Avantel has secured a significant order from the defence public sector undertaking (PSU), Bharat Electronics (BEL), for the supply of power amplifiers, valued at Rs 8.03 crore.

This contract is scheduled to be completed by March 2026. Avantel, which specialises in wireless and satellite communication products and defence electronics, will fulfill the order which contributes to BEL's work in supplying electronic systems to the Indian Armed Forces. The announcement comes as Avantel reported a substantial decline in net profit and revenue for Q2 FY26, while BEL posted strong growth in both profit and revenue during the same period. Following the news, shares of both Avantel and Bharat Electronics saw a slight decline.
