New Delhi: RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has informed the stock exchanges that it has secured a significant purchase order from The New India Assurance Company Ltd. for an advanced technology solution in the insurance sector.
As per the regulatory disclosure under Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, the order pertains to the procurement of an AI/ML-based solution designed for monitoring and investigating fraud, waste, and abuse in health insurance claims. The project aims to enhance data-driven oversight, improve claim integrity, and strengthen fraud detection mechanisms within the insurance ecosystem.
The total value of the order is approximately ₹24.91 crore (including taxes). The contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not involve any related party transactions or promoter group interests.
The execution timeline for the project extends up to May 6, 2029, providing a multi-year framework for deployment, integration, and operational implementation of the solution.
The company confirmed that the purchase order was received on May 7, 2026, at 18:01 hours. RailTel has stated that all necessary regulatory disclosures have been made in accordance with SEBI guidelines.
This order reinforces RailTel’s growing presence in delivering digital and AI-driven solutions for enterprise and public sector clients, particularly in high-impact domains such as insurance technology and risk analytics.
