NCL Bids Farewell to 31 Employees in August Retirement Ceremony

Singrauli, August 2026: Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) organised a felicitation ceremony at its headquarters on Monday to honour employees retiring at the end of August.

A total of 31 personnel — 6 officers and 25 staff members — retired from the company. Among those who superannuated from the headquarters were General Manager (Materials Management) Shri Gyaneshwar Nath, General Manager (Mining) Shri Subhasish Roy, and Assistant Supervisor, Transport (Light Vehicle Department) Shri Nageshwar Rajak.

NCL Director (Technical) Shri Ashutosh Dwivedi, along with General Managers, departmental heads, officers, staff and family members of the retiring employees, attended the function.

In his address, Shri Ashutosh Dwivedi appreciated the contribution of the retiring employees. He described their departure as an irreparable loss for the company and wished them a happy and healthy future.

The retiring employees also shared their experiences from their service years. They expressed gratitude towards NCL and the Coal India family and wished continued progress for the organisation.

Similar farewell and felicitation programmes were held at various projects and units of NCL for the employees retiring from those locations.
