ONGC Receives ESG Rating and Climate Change Scores for FY2025
ONGC discloses ESG Rating by NSE Sustainability and Climate Change scores by CDP under SEBI Regulation 30.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has received notification regarding receipt of the ESG Rating Report for FY2025 as prepared by NSE Sustainability Ratings & Analytics Limited (NSE) along with a Climate Change Score from CDP as required Under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations.
According to the NSE Sustainability assessment, ONGC received an overall ESG Score of 61 for FY2025, which is an increase from the 58 received during FY2024 and places ONGC into the Adequate rating category. The breakdown of scores into different categories is as follows: Environment - 51; Social - 73; Governance - 63. All of the information contained within these scores has been independently reviewed by NSE Sustainability based on publicly available information with no involvement from ONGC.
Further, ONGC was assigned a Climate Change score of 'B' by CDP for Climate Change based on the Company's responses to the disclosures issued by CDP, which outline the Company's approach towards climate related governance, policies and risk management.
According to ONGC, these ratings provide a clear picture of ONGC's Environmental Stewardship, Social Responsibility and Governance Framework and enable its various stakeholders to gain a better understanding of ONGC's sustainability performance and transition efforts.
