POWERGRID Issues Multiple Tenders Across Regions for Civil, Telecom, Manpower, Vehicle Hiring & O&M Works
POWERGRID releases fresh tenders for renovation, telecom bandwidth leasing, manpower hiring, vehicle services, water supply works, and major transmission line packages in various states.

POWERGRID has released multiple tenders across different regions, covering civil upgrades, telecom services, manpower hiring, vehicle procurement and major transmission line work. A tender has been floated for the renovation and upgradation of the transit camp and liaison office in Rajbagh, Srinagar, which includes significant civil and structural improvements, with bids closing on 2 January 2026. In the telecom category, POWERGRID has invited bids for leasing a 2 Mbps point-to-point bandwidth for the EPFO Nagercoil office for a three-year period, with the bid deadline set for 13 December 2025.
To strengthen winter preparedness, another tender seeks skilled manpower for patrolling works in the Banihal region during the 2025–26 winter season. For logistical support, the company has invited bids to hire a less-than-one-year-old SUV such as an Ertiga, Scorpio, or XUV500 for its Mumbai Telecom Centre, with a three-year deployment plan. In Shillong, POWERGRID is undertaking water infrastructure improvements through a tender for installing external water pipelines connecting a deep tube well to overhead tanks at its Lapalang campus.
A major O&M tender has also been issued for the operation and maintenance of transmission lines under the Guna cluster, covering assets linked to the 400 kV Guna and 220 kV Bhind substations. Additionally, a key transmission line package under the NERGS-III Siang Basin project, covering the 400 kV Kaying–Niglok stretch, has been opened for bidding.
POWERGRID has also invited bids for hiring a closed-body 7-seater vehicle to support maintenance works at the 765/400 kV Khavda substation for a three-year period. These tenders reflect POWERGRID’s ongoing efforts to enhance infrastructure, strengthen regional operations and support reliable power transmission across the country.f
