RVNL SPVs Handle 48,191 Loaded Rakes & 135 MT Freight in FY26

New Delhi, September 2026: At Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), infrastructure goes beyond creating physical assets. Its real impact lies in how effectively it supports the movement of goods, connects production centres with markets, and strengthens the country’s logistics ecosystem.

As highlighted in the CMD’s address at the 23rd Annual General Meeting, RVNL’s Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) handled 48,191 loaded rakes carrying 135.05 million tonnes of freight during FY2025-26.

This scale of movement reflects the important role of RVNL’s infrastructure network in enabling efficient freight operations and supporting wider economic activity.

With infrastructure designed to facilitate movement at scale, RVNL continues to contribute to stronger connectivity between industries, production hubs and markets across the country.
