SECL Director HR flags off Bansal News Pankh Marathon 2026 in presence of Chhattisgarh leaders and actor Randeep Hooda

The Bansal News Pankh Marathon 2026 was flagged off on Sunday with the participation of Biranchi Das, Director Human Resources of South Eastern Coalfields Limited, as one of the chief guests, along with noted actor Randeep Hooda.

The event was formally flagged off by Arun Sao, Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, in the presence of several senior leaders and dignitaries, including Ramvichar Netam, Minister for Agriculture Development and Farmer Welfare, Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Minister for Public Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education, Backward Classes and Minority Development and Twenty-Point Programme Implementation, Lakshmi Rajwade, Minister for Women and Child Development, Rajesh Agrawal, Minister for Tourism, Culture, Dharmasva and Dharmik Nyas, former Deputy Chief Minister T S Singh Deo, Arun Dev Gautam, Director General of Police, Chhattisgarh, and senior administrative officials.

The marathon saw enthusiastic participation across three race categories of 21 kilometres, 10 kilometres and 6 kilometres. The event aimed at promoting fitness, public health awareness and community engagement among citizens.

Following the morning flag-off ceremony, the dignitaries also took part in the prize distribution function, where winners from all categories were felicitated and awarded.
