New Delhi: The Railway Board under the Ministry of Railways has approved the resignation of Shri Md. Asad Aslam who has been serving as Chairman and Managing Director of the Braithwaite and Company Ltd. The approval has been made with immediate effect, waiving off the three-month notice period. The officer would be relieved immediately.
Md. Asad Alam has taken over as the Chairman & Managing Director of Braithwaite & Co. Limited on 29.02.2024.
Md. Asad Alam has previously held important positions like Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer (Manufacturing), Carriage & Wagon Workshop, Eastern Railway, Liluah, Sr. Divisional Mechanical Engineer (C&W), Eastern Railway, Howrah, Director (Inspection & Liaison), Research Designs & Standards Organisation (RDSO), Kolkata, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Kharagpur, South Eastern Railway (SER) & Chairman & Managing Director, Burn Standard Company Limited (BSCL).
