WCL bids farewell to Shri J. P. Dwivedi, CMD WCL, on his Retirement

New Delhi: On the occasion of the retirement of Shri J. P. Dwivedi, CMD WCL, a heartfelt farewell was accorded by WCL on 31.01.2026. The programme was organized at the Cultural Hall of WCL Headquarters.

Following the welcome address, Shri J. P. Dwivedi expressed his gratitude to all for their support during his four decades of service in Coal India Limited. He spoke in detail about the transformations witnessed in the coal industry over the years. He emphasized that consistent efforts with commitment towards one’s goals inevitably lead to success. He highlighted dedication to duty, discipline, and timeliness as the essential mantras for achieving success in work.

On this occasion, Director (Finance) Shri Bikram Ghosh, Director (Technical/Operations) Shri Anandji Prasad, Director (Human Resources) Dr. Hemant Sharad Pande, Director (Technical/Planning & Projects) Shri Sandeep Paranjpe, and Chief Vigilance Officer Shri Ajay Madhukar Mhetre extended their best wishes to Shri Dwivedi for the future in their addresses.

The programme was graced by the presence of Mrs. Abha Dwivedi, President of Jhankar Mahila Mandal, along with Vice President Mrs. Rozlin Ghosh, Mrs. Reena Pande, Mrs. Shruti Paranjpe, and Dr. Sonali Mhetre. A large number of officers and employees were present on the occasion.
