Coal India’s shares rises after Provisional Production & Off-take Performance update
Coal India’s shares are surged by 0.35% after the company posted the Provisional Production and Off-take Performance of the company and its subsidiary companies for the month of Dec’25 and for the period Apr’25-Dec’25.

New Delhi: State-owned Coal India’s shares are surged by 0.35% after the company posted the Provisional Production and Off-take Performance of the company and its subsidiary companies for the month of Dec’25 and for the period Apr’25-Dec’25.
The Coal India’s subsidiary SECL (South Eastern Coalfields Ltd) has recorded highest-ever coal production in terms of growth percentage with a rise of 28% with Coal India Ltd on second number position with growth of 4.6%. However, in terms of actual production the Coal India Ltd is standing at 75.7 MT in this financial year as compared to 72.4 MT in FY25.
For the period of April to December 2025, the growth ratio is highest for the SECL at 6.7% with 119.0 MT of coal production in this period.
Meanwhile in terms of Coal offtake in December 2025, the CCL (Central Coalfields Ltd) is highest among the subsidiaries with 13.5% growth. Further, the offtake performance of the coal is again highest for the SECL in the period of April to December 2025.
