Key Drivers Behind Today's Movement

  1. Profit Booking Post-Rally: Investors took profits across global and domestic commodity exchanges following recent record highs.

  2. Currency Fluctuations: Shifts in the USD/INR exchange rate continue to impact the landing cost of imported bullion.

  3. Macroeconomic Indicators: Traders are adjusting positions ahead of upcoming global central bank policy cues and inflation data releases.

Buyer Note: Final retail jewellery prices will include additional charges, including local GST (typically 3%), making/crafting fees (which range from 8% to 25% depending on design complexity), and hallmark certification costs.
