BHEL Pays ₹283.56 Crore Final Dividend to Govt of India for FY 2025-26
New Delhi, September 1, 2026: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has paid a final dividend of ₹283.56 crore to the Government of India for the financial year 2025-26.
The amount corresponds to the Government’s 58.17% equity holding in the company. A cheque for the dividend was presented by Shri K. Sadashiv Murthy, Chairman and Managing Director of BHEL, to Shri H. D. Kumaraswamy, Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Steel, in the presence of Shri Kamran Rizvi, Secretary (Heavy Industries).
Directors of BHEL and senior officials of the Ministry of Heavy Industries were also present on the occasion.
The final dividend paid to the Government for FY 2025-26 is more than two-and-a-half times the amount paid in the previous year. The total dividend distributed by BHEL to all its shareholders for the year stands at ₹487.49 crore.
