Canara Bank Promotes Sunil Kumar Yadav as Chief General Manager
Mumbai: Canara Bank has informed the stock exchanges about a change in its Senior Management.
Shri Sunil Kumar Yadav, who was serving as General Manager, has been promoted as Chief General Manager with effect from 1 September 2026.
Brief Profile
Shri Sunil Kumar Yadav joined Canara Bank in September 2000 as a Probationary Agriculture Officer. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Agriculture) along with JAIIB and CAIIB certifications from the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF).
With over 26 years of experience in the banking industry, he has held key leadership positions across branch and administrative roles in different states, covering rural to metro locations. He has successfully headed a Large Corporate Branch in Bengaluru and is known for his strategic insight and people-centric approach.
