CONCOR Appoints V. Kashiho Sangtam as Independent Director for 3 Years
New Delhi, September 1, 2026: Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR) has appointed Shri V. Kashiho Sangtam as a Non-Official Independent Director on its Board for a period of three years.
The appointment is effective from August 26, 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, following the Ministry of Railways' order dated August 13, 2026.
Who Is V. Kashiho Sangtam?
Sangtam is a retired officer of the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) with more than three decades of experience in public administration and governance.
He has served as a Block Development Officer and Assistant Director, Rural Development, in the Government of Nagaland. From 2018 to 2023, he served as Minister for Soil & Water Conservation, Geology & Mining and also chaired the Nagaland State Minerals Development Corporation.
His experience includes public administration, management, rural development, human resources and project management.
CONCOR Board Update
The appointment was approved by the CONCOR Board on September 1, 2026. The company confirmed that Sangtam is not debarred from holding the office of Director by any SEBI or other regulatory authority order and has no relationship with the company's other Directors.
CONCOR is a Navratna CPSE of the Government of India engaged in multimodal logistics and container transportation.
