Canara Bank Wins Best Performing Bank Award for PMFME Scheme
New Delhi, September 1, 2026: Canara Bank has been recognised as the Best Performing Bank in the Large Bank Category for its implementation of the PM Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme.
The award recognises Canara Bank's performance in implementing the scheme since its inception in 2020.
Award presented at PMFME Conclave 2026
The award was presented by Union Minister for Food Processing Industries Chirag Paswan at the PMFME Conclave 2026, held on August 24–25 at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi.
Vikram Duggal, Chief General Manager (CGM), Canara Bank, received the award on behalf of the bank.
