IDBI Bank inaugurates an Interpoint 55 Braille Embosser at NAB India, Mumbai, supporting inclusive education and improved information access for visually impaired people.
Mumbai, September 9, 2026: IDBI Bank has taken a step towards supporting inclusive education by inaugurating an Interpoint 55 Braille Embosser at NAB India, Mumbai.
The equipment was inaugurated by Jayakumar S. Pillai, Deputy Managing Director (DMD), IDBI Bank and Chairman, IDBI Foundation.

The initiative is aimed at strengthening inclusive education and access to information for visually impaired people. The Braille embosser enables information to be produced in Braille, supporting greater accessibility for users with visual impairment.
The initiative reflects IDBI Bank Foundation’s efforts to support accessibility and inclusion through targeted social-impact initiatives.
