Supreme Court Declares 11 & 12 September 2026 as Holidays; 28 November to be Working Day
New Delhi: The Supreme Court of India has declared holidays on 11 and 12 September 2026.
As per a circular issued on 9 September 2026 by the Administration General Branch:

11 September 2026 (Friday) has been declared a holiday for both the Court and the Registry.

12 September 2026 (Saturday) has been declared a holiday for the Registry.
In lieu of these holidays, 28 November 2026 (Saturday) has been declared a full working day for the Supreme Court. Registry offices will function till 5:00 P.M. on that day.
The decision follows the Office Memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on 3 September 2026.
